Summer Dance Programs
The Duluth School of Ballet's Summer Dance Programs were developed by Artistic Director Peter Garick to provide a wholesome, FUN summer dance learning experience for young dance students. Each program is designed to expand a child's dance knowledge according to the child's individual learning level.
For children who are thinking about studying dance, summer classes are a great way to find out if you really like it before you decide to commit to an entire season of lessons. For those already enrolled in classes, summer study provides the opportunity to continue to improve the skills that were developed during the previous year's study. This is especially important for students who are serious about their dance training, especially those who are at the upper levels. Ballet technique cannot be maintained or improved upon unless it is continually practiced.
Four different programs are available at DSB during the summer months, each one designed to fit a different family summer schedule.
